Etón Corporation Announces Availability of Officially Licensed Canadian Red Cross Safety Products

Available initially at Walmart Canada stores nationwide in conjunction with Earth Month, Etón’s exclusive partnership with the country’s leading humanitarian organization provides families with the essentials of light, information and energy in unexpected situations.
To prepare for any unforeseen circumstance such as a natural disaster, the Canadian Red Cross encourages all Canadians to share the responsibility for their own safety. It may take emergency workers some time to reach everyone, so it’s important to be prepared to take care of yourself and your family for at least 72 hours in a disaster.

This self-powered safety radio uses hand crank or solar power to re-charge the internal nickel metal-hydride battery and features AM/FM radio and Environmental Canada weather band channels to provide emergency weather information/public alerts. In addition, the FR160 has an integrated LED flashlight, 3.5 mm headphone output and a USB port for charging cell phones.
