American Red Cross Blood Supply Low – How You Can Help

The American Red Cross reports that their blood supplies have dipped to the lowest levels in more than a decade. The lack of supply is likely due to fewer donations coupled with an increased need in the past six months.

Cities across the US simply want to be prepared for emergency situations—especially popular vacation destinations where summer blood supplies are crucial.

Luckily, it’s not hard to help in a situation like this—All you have to do is donate! And right now there are several initiatives associated with giving blood, which makes it a win-win situation for everyone involved.
