Resolution: Save Money by Saving Water
We are now into 2012 and have heard a laundry list of resolutions to ensure a happy and healthy year. Have you made your resolution yet? If not, here’s a two-for-one idea from the team – save money by saving water.
It’s a lot easier than you think to save both money and water. Here are our tips:
- Take shorter showers to reduce water use. This will not only lower your waste, but also your heating bills.
- Invest in faucet aerators. They’re inexpensive, so they can be placed on all of your faucets, and conserve heat and water, all while keeping that precious water pressure.
- Speaking of flow, install a low-flow showerhead. They too are inexpensive and the water and energy savings can quickly pay back your investment.
