Ring in spring with a green to-do list
Spring has sprung in our minds (sorry, Phil), so why not get up and celebrate another beautiful season! In usual Eton Corporation fashion, here are some green ways to ring in sunny spring.

- Make a tasty spring recipe. Try a spring recipe using seasonal spring ingredients like artichoke, avocado and asparagus- oh my alliteration!
- Join Earth Hour. On March 26, set your clock for 8:30 p.m. and unplug for an hour to honor all things green.
- Watch an environmental film. Washington, D.C. even hosts an Environmental Film Festival every year. 2012 rings in the 20th annual event!
- Take a hike! These seven sites can help identify the perfect trails, parks or other venues for an outdoor adventure.
- Make a bird feeder. “Recycled plastic feeders are a great way to go,” said Keith Hamilton, co-owner of Germantown’s Wild Birds Unlimited. “They help keep milk jugs and soda bottles out of landfills.”
Of course, there are more than five ways to welcome spring. What plans do you have to greet spring? Share them in the comment section below.
