March Madness Goes Mobile

At Etón, we love sports and we love mobile technology. While some good, old-fashioned tailgating might be our favorite way to take in sports, we also love the competitiveness of college basketball. March Madness is in full swing right now, with the Sweet 16 battling it out for the next eight elite spots.

There are so many games to take in, though, that it’s nearly impossible to watch all of them live. That’s where mobile comes in—there are several mobile apps you can use to keep up with every three-pointer, free throw and buzzer beater.

One of our favorite March Madness mobile apps is SportCaster. This free app gives you play-by-play updates and real-time commentary right on your mobile phone. So even if you can’t watch all the games, you’ll know what’s happening, wherever you and your mobile go.

However, if you actually want to watch every game, but still leave your house during the month of March, then the NCAA March Madness Live mobile app is for you. For just $4, you’ll have access to stream every game on your iPhone, iPad or (select) Android phone—proving mobile just might be the way to go.

No matter what mobile app you choose for your March Madness viewing, make sure you also grab a mobile charger, so you’re not left it in the dark! We recommend the Mobius, a battery-powered iPhone case that has a bonus solar panel, so you can grab an extra charge anywhere the sun is shining (which is a lot of places this March!)

What’s your favorite mobile app for March Madness? Who’s you’re favorite team?
