It’s Time to Think Home Safety
Home Safety month starts this Friday, June 1, and runs through the end of the month. It’s the perfect time to evaluate your home and make sure everything is as safe as possible.
Last year at this time, we took at look at the state of home safety—and gave a visual representation of the statistics:
Last year, we learned that only 8% of Americans are prepared for an emergency situation like a tornado, hurricane or earthquake. Now that June is here again, it’s time to re-evaluate. Have you made strides to increase your home safety since last June? Did you purchase a safety radio or put together a preparedness kit?
