Prepared for what? Anything and everything, including hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, wildfires, tornadoes, home fires, blackouts, etc.

Think those things won’t happen to you? You might be right—but you could very well be wrong. Chances are that you or someone you know will at some point be a victim of an emergency or disaster, and you’ll never regret being prepared or spreading the message of preparedness.

Check out our preparedness facts infographic and educate yourself on the realities of common disasters, like that a hurricane can be as big as the state of Montana—that’s 600 miles wide.

Take our Safety Pledge and vow to get prepared this National Preparedness Month. Follow the @EtonCorporation Twitter and ‘Like’ the Etón Corp Facebook for more great preparedness information throughout September and year-round.

And above all, make sure you and your family or household are prepared.
