CES 2014: Rave Reviews of New Etón Products

Can you believe it? CES 2014 is over… And we had a great time!

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Satellit radio with four new AM, FM, and shortwave radio models. We also unveiled two new emergency preparedness radios—the FRX4 S and FRX5 S, two new rukus solar-powered speakers—the rukus Xtreme and Rugged rukus II, and the brand new Blackout Buddy CO.

And with three 2014 Innovations Award Honorees among our products, including BoostTurbine 4000, rukus Xtreme, and Blackout Buddy CO, CES 2014 was a success for Etón Corp!

But don’t take our word for it. Just see how the media reacted to our CES 2014 showing:

Fans of our new rukus products, rukus Xtreme and Rugged rukus II, include EngadgetWired, Cult of MacSound and Vision, and not least of all, the official International CES Twitter account:

“The IPX4 water-resistance rating also makes it good for those who like to dance in the rain, and frankly, who doesn’t? Engadget

“A regular Bluetooth speaker won’t do when you’re camping, hiking, or hitting the beach or pool.” Wired

“Etón’s solar-powered rukus speakers now bigger, badder and more efficient” Cult of Mac

The FRX line most notably attracted the attention of CNET and Popular Mechanics:

“The new FRX4 and FRX5 are emergency combination radios, flashlights, and charging stations for your usb-powered devices.” CNET

“You never know what to expect in a crisis, but in case the worst does come to pass, it’s good to have options. Eton’s new FRX4 S and FRX5 S emergency radios come with just that: up to four different choices, actually, for sources of power for the gadgets.” Popular Mechanics

While the new Blackout Buddy CO appeared on both Gear Diary and Gizmodo:

“A one-of-a-kind combination carbon monoxide detector” Gear Diary

“Eton Corporation had updated its outlet-mounted emergency backup torch with a built-in carbon monoxide detector that will trigger both an audible and visible flashing alarm when CO level reach dangerous levels in a room.” Gizmodo

All new products will be released in the next year, so stay tuned to the Etón Corp Facebook Page and @EtonCorporation Twitter for the latest new product news and updates!

Absolutely love this company! If you guys ever need customer feedback, beta testers, or anything of the sort, please sign me up! We believe in Green ideals and keeping it simple. My wife and I purchased a silver LEED certified green home with solar panels (http://bloomington.in.gov/evergreen) in 2009 and have really been excited about it.

We just purchased the Eton Rugged Rukus speaker (and recorded a short video about it (https://twitter.com/david111780/status/426714836307681280). Thanks for making such an awesome product and I look forward to following your progress in the future and being a happy consumer of your products.
